Aladdin Jr.

Based on the 1992 Disney animated movie, Aladdin is the story of a street rat who finds the treasure inside himself. Street rat Aladdin is a thief who scrapes by on the streets of Agrabah but dreams of a better life. Without knowing it, he is the “diamond in the rough” the evil Jafar needs to retrieve a magical lamp that will allow him to take over the kingdom – but when he does so, he, and not Jafar, becomes the master of the powerful Genie inside. Given the gift of three wishes, Aladdin becomes a prince and woos the beautiful Princess Jasmine, but when things go wrong, he must use all his street smarts to defeat Jafar, win the princess, and save the day. With a full cast of fun characters, this is a great show for all ages, and an exciting performing opportunity for young actors.
